I feel like I have a basic understanding of very simple conversation and can understand much better than I can speak the Italian language. I am planning on traveling to Italy in one month. Do you have any…

I am currently in California, living in the Antelope Valley. I have asked at all the major liquor stores within an hour radius and nobody can (or will) get Aperol.

Hi Michael — La Morra sounds great, best time to go up into that area is mid-October through mid-November. Be sure to check out the Alba truffle fair if you’re around on a Saturday or Sunday. It’s still early for the 2013 fair, but you can check out their website for more info: http://www.fieradeltartufo.org/.
It’s best to train into Bologna…

My husband & I will end a 14-day cruise in Rome (Civitevecchia) in May, and stay for a few days. It seems all the Americans were doing it, so I stocked up….it was a fracture of the cost of our local pharmacy. …[Read more]
