We enjoyed the Brunellos at Ventolaio near Montalcino. Very much a family operation, so make an appointment. They do not speak English, so I hope you have a little Italian!

We very much enjoyed B&B Santo Stefano which is very conveniently located and only Euro 90.00 per night for a double room. Clean and modern, great breakfast, kind host.

Great podcast, I didn't understand much about the DOC/DOCG classification and learned some new stuff. Now I can buy Italian wines with an eye toward quality.
Dall’Uva keeps me coming back for more. Great source of information and experience to broaden and use in my own Italia pursuits…wine, food, and travel.
Cortona Syrah is a real gem. Thanks for the recommendation Michael. This is like the Cote Rotie, at half the price!
These folks certainly know their stuff. I asked them for suggestions on wineries to visit in Chianti, and they came back with a fantastic list of great places to visit. We had a great time. Bravo!
