Zyme is known for their iconoclastic reds. This bright, youthful Reverie Valpolicella is no exception.
Intentionally made to pair with lighter meals, with alcohol coming in at just 11.5%, this friendly vino shows morello cherry and violets on the nose, with crisp & bright red fruits on the palate, like strawberry & cherry, raspberries and a touch of black pepper on the finish.
Reverie is the kind of wine you just whip out on the fly when friends show up, or you're looking for something lighter to go with your summer lunches or dinners. It's makes for a fine house red.
I'd pair Reverie with antipasti like sliced salami and prosciutto, soft cheeses like young pecorino, taleggio and asiago, or go for a light soup like minestrone or ribollita. It's also quite nice with grilled chicken thighs.
