OMG YES, this is the uber-rare 2010 vintage that Bartolo fans and collectors have been madly after since the day it was released. Think of it as a vino unicorn. Yes, I have some, but just a bit to share.
Collectors please note: This is direct from Barolo, flown over and babied in my Napa temp-controlled warehouse. Provenance doesn't get any better than this.
This wine is the benchmark of 2010 Baroli, an elegant wine with rich red cherries, serious floral notes with jasmine and violets, tobacco and mint and woody herbs. Baking spices seamlessly blend and linger on the palate. Awesome.
In Piedmont it's illegal to open a bottle of this until after 2025. Just kidding. But not really. Lay this baby down for a rest.
