This is a biggy at 16%, and nearly a meal in itself.
Full-bodied is an understatement. This tiny production (5,000 bottles) Amarone bursts with blackberry jam, blueberry compote, amarena cherry, with fragrant violets on the nose. A touch of damp earth with forest mushrooms, nutmeg, marjoram. Super long finish, very nice medium acidity.
If you love Amarone, this will blow your socks off.
