Val delle Corti Chianti Classico 2010

Roberto's 2010 Chianti Classico is sumptuous and shows off what the mountains around Radda can do for Sangiovese. Bright cherry, blackberry, cocoa, wild fennel, with nice acidity.

The 2010 vintage throughout Chianti was stupendous, and this is no exception. It's heavenly and priced right, stock up your “house wine” and pop a cork whenever Tuscan inspiration hits you.

This fine Chianti pairs well with good friends over a fine Tuscan-style meal. I'd pair a bottle up with grilled beef steaks, pork sausages with polenta, or any pasta dish with red sauce (Spaghetti Bolognese works fine). You just can't go wrong with Val delle Corti Chianti and classic Tuscan food fare.
